Which is the level of physical and psychological Energy you need to face the Maratona dles Dolomites?
Training, diet, emotions and self-control.

The 'Comari della Maratona dles Dolomites', following the great and unexpected successes of the past two years (2007 : a new well in Africa with AMREF - 2008 : equipment for the Burlo Garofolo pediatric Hospital of Trieste), are going to face a new and ambitious goal.
When the Comari came across the experience of Stefania, a ten years old child suffering from epileptic encephalopathy, a disease that causes serious psychomotor delays, they thought that the best equivalence was: OUR LIFE'S ENERGY = BRAIN
Stefania is suffering from a particular pathology, unfortunately not so rare, for which no significant researches are carried on at National level. It is still possible to give Stefania a better way of life with highly costly and dedicated cures offered only by a clinic in Florida, USA.
The monthly fees for these cures amounts to 20.000 euros, an enormous price that is not possible to afford with the only help of Mum Ester and Dad Andrea, with their Love and their Energies.
In order to overcome this issue, Stefania's family, together with Mrs Silvia Paoletti, created a non profit association to collect funds to sustain the cures of this serious disease. Via this association, called “insieme per la speranza” (together for hope :: www.insiemeperlasperanza.it), Stefania's family hopes to touch Italian Society's heart, beside bringing this problem to Institutions' notice, starting to give new vital lymph to a young child and starting to help similar sad situations, suffering from the same pathology.
“Insieme per la Speranza” induced once again the Comari della Maratona dles Dolomites to embrace and help people who could have a better life.
